Our Founder & Her Vision

Abukki (pronounced uh-book-ie) Botanicals is the manifestation of a long-held dream by founder Sarah Bolarinwa, LE. A Licensed Esthetician, devoted mother, retired U.S. Navy veteran, and lifelong wellness advocate, Sarah, has always been drawn to the healing power of beauty and holistic care. Her love for plant-based skincare began early (long before she earned her esthetics license), when she would mix natural remedies and custom blends for friends and family, intuitively crafting solutions based on their unique skin needs.

What started as a quiet curiosity soon blossomed into a deep passion. Whether she was whipping up oatmeal masks in her kitchen or diving into books about herbal remedies and clean beauty rituals, Sarah, was always searching for the best, safest ways to nourish the skin and body. Over time, this passion transformed into a clear mission: to help others embrace wellness from the inside out.

Abukki Botanicals was born from that mission. Rooted in peace, simplicity, and purpose, the brand reflects Sarah’s belief, that skincare is more than skin-deep . . . it’s a form of self-love.
